Description

The Ruijie Reyee RG-AirMetro550G-B is a professional outdoor wireless base station (connectorized radio unit) designed for point-to-point (PTP) and point-to-multipoint (PTMP) wireless network deployments such as CCTV camera backhaul, WISP internet distribution, building-to-building connectivity, campus networks, industrial zones, and smart city infrastructure. It operates on the 5GHz Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) band and delivers a stable wireless throughput of up to 867Mbps, ensuring reliable long-distance data transmission with low latency and high efficiency.

This device is designed as the “base station brain” of the AirMetro ecosystem, meaning it does not include built-in antennas. Instead, it uses external high-gain antennas (sector, omni, or directional) to build flexible wireless coverage depending on deployment needs. This makes it highly suitable for customized network designs where different coverage angles and distances are required.

The RG-AirMetro550G-B supports up to 1:32 PTMP connections, allowing a single base station to serve multiple remote CPE devices efficiently. It features dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, enabling flexible network integration and high-speed wired backhaul. With PoE power support and cloud-based management, it simplifies large-scale deployment and remote monitoring.

Built for harsh outdoor environments, it comes with an IP55-rated weather-resistant body, 6kV surge protection, and ±24kV ESD protection, ensuring stable performance in rain, dust, heat, and lightning-prone areas. It also supports one-touch auto pairing in 30 seconds, making installation fast and easy for field engineers.
